Bubaiskull Band Picture

Bubaiskull were a rock band based in Halifax Nova Scotia. They were contemporaries of Sloan, Jale, Hardship Post, Chaz Rules, Thrush Hermit, Horseshoes and Handgrenades and many other excellent bands. They played most often at a bar called the Double Deuce.

What did the name mean? You ever see that tattoo of a skull with a boob coming out of its eye? Well that’s what it meant.

They had the honour of being the first band to put out a 7″ single on Cinnamon Toast Records.

We probably still owe a lot of people various things. I guess the best we can do so late in the goddam day is offer our thanks:

Greg Clark
The Double Deuce
Terry Pulliam
Karl Gosine
Ken Wilson-Harrington
CKDU
Cinnamon Toast Records

All of you that came to see us.  Allison would also like to randomly shout-out to Dr. Chris, who was our biggest, oddest fan.  These days, he leads the field in geriatric mental health.  I frankly think it will come in handy to know someone who specializes in crazy old coots.

Bubaiskull were:

Adam Cavill - Drums
Chris Logan - Vocals & Guitar
Allison Outhit - Vocals & Guitar
Tim Stewart - Bass

and briefly:

Tim Brennan: Guitar
Brock Caldwell: Drums
